My 7lb 15oz baby boy turned 4 on Saturday, August 28, 2010. He had a full action packed day. Hunter woke up to all of us (Gran, dad, Peyton, and I) singing happy birthday. Then we headed downstairs where he had his milk, donuts, and kolache waiting for him. He opened a few presents and then it was time to start organizing for his party.
This year Hunter really wanted to have his party at Chuck E. Cheese’s and he wanted a Super Hero theme. It worked out perfectly and everyone had a blast. He loved playing all the games, eating the pizza, meeting Chuck E., and especially getting in the ticket blaster machine and catching 900 points worth of tickets. That's our boy!
After the party we came home so Hunter could open and play with all of his new gifts. Everything was a hit.
Hunter got to pick where to eat for dinner and he chose mexican food. We took him to Ruthie’s for some queso and quesadillas. When Hunter wasn’t looking I told the waiter it was Hunter’s birthday and asked if they could sing. After all of us finished eating a group of waiters came over and starting singing. They put a big sombrero on Hunter’s head and out of no where put a full plate of whip cream in his face. His expression was priceless. He didn’t know what was happening. He was a very good sport about it.
After dinner, we headed home for some strawberry ice cream (his choice for dessert) and he opened his presents. He was spoiled rotten with all of his gifts.
We ended the evening watching football and Hunter falling asleep on daddy’s chest. Perfect end to a perfect day.
Hunter Clay… I love you so much and am so proud of the person you are becoming. You hug my heart! Love you.
