Today we saw 2 Santa’s. The first Santa was at the mall. Peyton saw Santa and was happily chanting, “Santa, Santa”. As we got closer and closer she started working her way back into the stroller under she finally put her blankie over her head. Hunter walked right up to Santa and started telling him his Christmas list. I pulled Peyton off my neck and handed her to Santa. Oh the screaming. At first Santa had his arm around Hunter but then decided he need both arms to hold Peyton down. From the picture it looks like Hunter leaned over and got comfortable on the arm of the chair while Santa battled Peyton.
This evening we went to Santa’s Wonderland in College Station. It was a Texas Santa and he was awesome. Very realistic and he was great with the kids. He took his time with them and even showed them a photo album of his with all his caribou. Very cool. Peyton still wasn’t a fan of Santa and we did the best we could picture wise. After the picture Peyton decides to warm up to Santa, give him a hug, and a high five. Ugh.
Peyton will be the first to recognize and talk to Santa but don’t expect her to sit on any more Santa laps!
