The kids were so excited about decorating the tree and hanging all of the ornaments. Our tradition is that each one of them get to put one of their new ornaments on the tree first. Then we put all the others on. Hunter’s first ornament was Captain America and Peyton’s was Strawberry Shortcake. The kids were putting on the ornaments faster than I could open the boxes. You could tell which ones Peyton did because they were all low and she had about five ornaments on each branch. Ha. Hunter really got it this year and spread them all out. It was fun because he was asking each ornament and its meaning (thanks for that tradition mom).
I love this time of year!
