Peyton's 6 Month Checkup

Peyton had her 6 month checkup this week. Here are her stats:

Height: 26 3/4 inches (70-90%)

Weight: 18 lbs. 6.5 ozs. (90%)

Head: 43 cm. (50-75%)

The doctor said she looks great and is growing like a weed. She was given 4 shots (including the flu) in her thighs and then she had one oral vaccine. Poor baby cried and cried.

Peyton decided the day before the appointment that she liked baby food after all. She is now eating 2 tbsp. of cereal/oatmeal and 1 tbsp. of a fruit/veggie. It's not a lot but its progress. She is still drinking 35-40 oz. of milk but the doctor said once she gets the hang of eating, she will starting drinking less. EJ gave her carrots tonight and she did great. So we are on our way.

Peyton desperately wants to crawl and pull up. She is tired of sitting still and playing with the same stuff. She can now push herself up on to all fours and will rock back and forth. She knows how to reverse but she will just lunge forward instead of move her arms/feet. She loves to stand up and will hold herself forever it seems like. She is getting stronger each day and she will be all over the place before I know it.
We are getting our family pictures, Hunter's 3 year pictures, and Peyton's 6 month pictures taken this next weekend. I am sooo excited.
