Here is what she is up to:
1. She is feeding herself and she won't eat any more baby food (maybe applesauce if I am lucky). She could eat a whole box of cheerios or Graduate cereal bars if I let her.
2. She is walking full time and is starting to pick up the pace. Hunter is really start to have fun with her and they chase each other all over the house.
3. Peyton has a ton of her own toys yet all she wants to play with are Hunter's. Better yet, she wants what HE is playing with at the time.
4. She has mastered shaking her head no when she doesn't want something. She is a little pistol at times and definitely has an attitude on her. She must have gotten that from daddy. :)
5. She loves her baby doll and her blankie. She must have them when she gets tired and when she goes to bed. When you get her out of her crib, she picks up her baby and blankie so they can go with her. She calls them "ba ba".
6. She is my fish and still loves the bath. As soon as we go upstairs, she goes to the bath and already has her leg lifted over the side. I can pour water over her head or put her head under the faucet. She just laughs and then screams when I pull her out. She is going to love the pool this summer.
7. She is finally starting to sleep consistently through the night. Woohoo!
8. I am about to jinx myself but she hasn't been to the doctor in her first 11 months (besides well checkups). She has had 2 tummy episodes but they clear up on their own. Healthy girl!
9. She is a mommy's girl AND a daddy's girl. We couldn't imagine life without her!
One more month until her FIRST birthday. Wow. Hunter picked her out a Tinkerbell theme. Gran is coming to TX to visit end of Feb. and then the kids and I will fly back with her. I will spend my bday there and will celebrate an early bday party for Peyton with my family. Looking forward to our visit and then coming back for her actual bday party. Where is the time going?
In Hunter news... he is doing great. He is loving school and loves playing with his friends. He really is a good brother and he loves his little sister. He is so full of energy and always has to be doing something. Finally after 3 years, he is playing upstairs in the gameroom by himself. More of his independence is shining through. He is still very much into Super Heroes and Spiderman. He is also growing fond of Transformers. He is my helper and he is still a mommy's boy. I love how he still snuggles with me at night and lets me put him to bed. Not sure how much longer that will last.. sniff sniff.
Slow down my babies. You are growing up too fast.
