Hunter took swim lessons again this summer and just finished his 4 week course. He took a total of 16 lessons. The beginning was rough due to the fact that a year had passed since he was in the pool and a few weeks prior he fell in my friends pool and panicked. After his first week, you would have never been able to tell. We call him our "fish" because he is an awesome swimmer. His teacher even had him taking a side breath versus just rolling over and resting. He was using really big arms (up out of the water) and kicking his feet. He learns so fast.
We went to our pool for the first time this summer and he loved being back in the water, playing on the big slides, and practicing what he learned in swim lessons. I plan on spending lots of time in the water with him this summer to keep up the excellent work!
