Peyton Elizabeth turned 3 today. Wow it got here fast. She was so excited about her actual birthday and kept telling me she was 3. Hunter and I woke Peyton up while singing her happy birthday. For breakfast we stuck with her Dora theme and she asked for donuts, blueberry muffins, strawberries, blueberries, and grapes. For lunch we went to pick up Eric for lunch so he could spend some time with her. Peyton got to open her gift from Hunter which was an Aerial doll. Then we went home and played until we had to leave for Hunter’s baseball game. After his game, we headed straight to Peyton’s favorite place, Ruthies mexican restaurant. I was going to try to be sneaky and tell the waitress it was her birthday but as soon as she walked up Peyton said, “It’s my birthday, can you sing to me?” Ha Ha. It was hilarious. So sure enough and her usual queso and quesadillas, the staff brought out a huge sombrero and sang to her. When the started singing she was frozen. I think it was because there was so many of them and they were so loud. After the left and she took off the hat, she starting laughing and wanting them to sing again. Ha.. silly girl. After dinner we headed home to open presents. She got a Belle doll, a Dora book, clothes for her Dora doll, a new baby (that she named Ruby), and some princess t shirts. Then it was time to relax and reflect on her awesome day. Peyton – I love you more than life itself!
