My baby started kinder today. I got up early to get ready and then at 6:45am I woke Hunter up. I walk in and start singing, Happy First Day of Kindergarten, and Hunter sits up and says, “Seriously mom? It’s still dark outside! Ha. He was not a fan of waking up so early. After he got dressed, we went downstairs to make muffins and smoothies. We packed his black backpack and his Ben 10 lunchbox. Then looking at my baby, he was ready to go.
How did this day get here so fast? I have really been struggling knowing this day was coming. He is my baby and I would do anything for him. Leaving him today is going to be hard but it is going to make pick up that much sweeter!
