For several weeks Hunter has had a loose tooth. It was wiggling and wobbling. He was constantly moving it with his tongue and we were just waiting for the day for it to come out. It got to the point where Hunter was complaining that it hurt and it bothered him when he brushed or chewed.
Fortunately Hunter had a dentist appointment for today. When they were doing the cleaning, the dentist commented on his tooth. After some convincing, Hunter let the dentist pull out his tooth. The numbed his gum (which numbed his tongue more than his tooth) and after a few tugs, it was out. He was so excited. He picked out an orange case for it and was so proud of his new smile.
Hunter couldn’t wait to call everyone and tell his friends at football practice. As soon as we got ready for bed, Hunter grabbed his tooth case and put it under his pillow. He had a million questions about the tooth fairy.
When I woke him up this morning, he picked up his pillow and there wasn’t anything there. After looking all around the bed, he found his empty case along with $2. He thought it was so cool and can’t wait until he loses more teeth. Ha
