Hunter turns 5

        

My 7lb. 15 oz., 19” baby boy is now a 48lbs.8 oz, 3’ 9.25 big boy. For his birthday Hunter wanted a Batman theme! His morning started off with Shipley donuts and a kolache and we had lunch at Chili’s where they sang and brought him a huge dessert. Instead of a big party this year he has been asking to go to Sea World. So we had a Batman themed dinner with Eric’s family and my mom flew in. He chose to have it at La Finca Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately when they came to sing to Hunter, they smashed whipped cream in his face. He cried and refused to go to a Mexican restaurant for his birthday ever again. Ha.

Hunters big birthday present request with a Nintendo DS. So of course my mom came through and gave him a BLUE one. We bought him lots of games to go with it and he got a ton of other things. Squinkies, DS games, Captain America toy, clothes, money, Super Hero books, Itunes gift card, etc etc etc. Spoiled rotten.

Facts about Hunter: favorite color: blue, favorite animal: monkey, favorite book or move: anything superhero, best friend: Nick, what he wants to be when he grows up: a Super Hero, favorite food: Mexican, favorite vegetable: green beans, favorite song: “Drink one more round (Cory Morrow), favorite game: Chutes and Ladders, favorite sport: baseball, what makes him happy: when mommy takes him fun places, what makes me sad: when he gets in trouble.

It will be neat to see how these change when he answers these questions next year!!

He is smart. He is curious.He is shy. He is sensitive. He loves his Super Heroes. He loves his electronics (phone, DS,Wii). He sleeps with blankie and Cheeath. He loves to color and do learning workbooks. He has allergies. He doesn’t like to be by himself. He likes watching TV (Superhero, Scooby, Transformers, Tom & Jerry). He goes to bed at 8pm and is up by 7am. He still snuggles with me and wants me to lay with him at bedtime. He still lets me give him a hug and kiss before school in front of his friends. He has the best manners. He is kind to his sister (most of the time). His favorite foods are chicken nuggets, pizza, Mexican food, and mac and cheese. He isn’t much of a sweets fan but he loves ice cream.

Wish I could keep him little forever. I am blessed to be his mommy! Hunter Clay – I love you more than life itself!
