We signed Hunter up for swim team and it started back in May. He had practice for about two weeks every evening and then when June started he practiced every morning. He had one time trial and then four swim meets. I was afraid he was going to get burned out with all the swim practices but he did really well. Once the meets started, he would get excited and he actually got pretty competitive! I could tell how proud he was of his ribbons and if he got one that he didn’t like, it pushed him that much more to do better the next time. He qualified for the Meet of Champs but due to our beach week he was unable to attend. Hopefully next year he will be able to.
Hunter finished up the season being one of the fastest 6 and unders. He improved his backstroke and freestyle times at every meet. We are really proud of him!
