Hunter got his stitches out on Friday. When the doctor walked in he layed down on the table and waited for him to the take the stitches out. The child has no fear! The doctor explained what he was going to do and then it took all of 2 minutes to remove the 3 stitches. Then Hunter popped up and asked for his free ice cream coupon. Ha. The doctor asked if he wanted to keep his stitches and he said yes. He carried them around with him in a container all day and couldn't wait to show daddy.
He talks about his "ouchie" from time to time but for the most part, he has forgotten about it. I know I can't keep him in a bubble all of his life but I pray its a while before another trip to the ER.
