First Easter Egg Hunt!

Today was Hunter's first (of many) Easter egg hunts. The whole way to playgroup he was talking about hunting for eggs and eating candy. The child has no patience because he kept asking for a good 30 minutes before the hunt finally began. He grabbed his Spider Man bucket and stood by the back door. As soon as the door opened he ran outside and spotted his first egg. He picked it up, opened it, and then proceeded to eat what was inside. I was trying to explain to him to pick up all the eggs first and THEN we open them up for the treat. Well he didn't like that idea at all and continued to do things his way. We were the last ones to find all 12 of our eggs because he had to open them (and eat if applicable) before we could proceed. He sure had a lot of fun!

Hunter gets to go on another egg Hunter tomorrow at school and then another one on Thursday! Then we will have an Easter egg hunt here at the house on Sunday. This just might become his new favorite holiday. Ha.

Hunter and Peyton got their Easter goodies early from Gran and Grandad. Hunter's favorite gifts were his Spider Man and Venom. Peyton got lots of books and some adorable swimsuits. Thanks Gran and Grandad for all of their gifts! We love you.
