Remembering Christmas

I was pretty vague in my earlier post about Christmas so I want to remember what I loved the most. It was really neat to see Hunter so excited about the holiday. He loved the tree and helping put on all the ornaments, he loved all of the decorations and the noise makers, he loved the moose that sang and his lights lite up, he loved the inflatable snowman that we had inside our house, he loved his very own little Christmas tree and all of his ornaments, and he loved his Rudolph characters that he played with daily (thanks Gran). His favorite characters were the Abominable Snowman, Rudolph, the Grinch, and Frosty. He watched the movies a hundred times and knew all of the words to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Silver and Gold.

Hunter loved to talk about Santa and when you asked him what Santa was going to bring him, he said "presents". He was so excited about Santa coming and was overwhelmed with all of his gifts. When it was time for bed after all of the celebrating, he wanted to know if Santa was coming tomorrow. Ha.

He wasn't happy when we tried to explain to him that Christmas was over so the tree had to be put away along with all of the other decorations. If it was up to him, they would stay up year round and we would continue to watch Christmas movies 24/7.

Hunter loved all of his presents this year. His big gifts were his train table/trains, bike, tent, and his Pixar Cars. He also got a million of other things that he loves to play with. Everything was a hit.

The only other thing to remember about Christmas 2008 was our trip to the ER. Fortuantely it was the day AFTER Christmas because that would have been a real bummer.

He is on the road to recovery and will be back to his wild self in no time!
